Please note my patches are made to reflect a whole signal chain, simulating the full preamp, power amp and speaker, if you are using into an amp, you will need to turn off cabinet emulation and also check the output select matches what you are playing through for the best results.
I liked your review, thank you.But I must warn any win 7 x64 owner that the drivers are not digitally signed, so windows will not install them.Consequently, you will not be able to use boss tone studio nor GT 100 librarian, this makes it like a prehistoric pedalboard.
Hi Pascal. Unfortunately, the Boss and Roland stuff does not work properly with our gear. Boss/Roland write it in their manuals, that their stuff only works with their own product range. Sorry about that!
Hi H& K I brought the GrandMeister-36 about a month ago (love it great product) and have been looking to simplify my rig. I found a looper, MIDI controller and multi-effects unit (Axe-FX8) the other day and wanted to know if you think it would interface well with my new Amp head. The multi-effects unit information sheet states (FX8 can control or respond to other MIDI gear in your rig with MIDI IN and OUT/THRU ports.) So my question is this FX8 unit able to switch the patches in the GrandMeister-36 head unit since I believe it can do PC and CC changes?
Just connect it with a standard midi cable to the midi in of zhe GrandMeister. The Grandmeister will react to program changes, you just have to make sure that the midi channel of the GrandMeister and the Pod is the same, factory setting is channel 1. And you can find a list of controller numbers for each knob and switch of the GrandMeister in the manual, how to assigns and adress those controllers, please see manual of the Pod. We know from users that it wotks pretty god, you can gor example assign volume or gain of the GrandMeister to the pedal of the Pod.
2. Can I use the MKIII to operate other midi devices such as a decibel 11 loop expander while switching channels on the amp. Or changing patches with an eventide h9 at the same time as switching channels via midi connection?
